About the Facilitator

Hi, I am Shina Khan. I am an educator, researcher, and facilitator passionate about curriculum studies and computational thinking in education. My journey in education spans over 15 years, during which I have worked as a computer science teacher in the UAE, guiding students through problem-solving, creativity, and technology-driven learning.

I am pursuing an MEd in Curriculum Studies, focusing on how computational thinking can be more than just a skill. It can be a mindset that empowers both teachers and students. I believe education should be engaging, relevant, and inclusive, so I dedicate my work to helping educators integrate computational thinking across subjects in meaningful ways.

As a facilitator, I love creating spaces where educators can explore, collaborate, and reflect. Whether through professional development workshops, teacher education, or curriculum design, my goal is to make learning interactive, hands-on, and inspiring.

Beyond education, I am always curious about new ideas, innovative teaching strategies, and ways to make learning more accessible. I thrive on conversations that challenge perspectives and encourage growth, and I am excited to connect with like-minded educators passionate about shaping the future of learning.

Let us explore, experiment, and grow together!
